The chat window Back to Manual page |
Overview This is the communication window for Nautix: Chat with other players, share your secret plans with your allies or manage an attack against your own people, secretly. Simply type in the message you want to send. There are also special commands to regulate the behaviour, they are explained below. The output window displays messages in different colors to differentiate between your own stuff, admin messages, news from your friends and those of your enemies. Command reference Sending messages to specified Avatars or Clans Command: .to <avatar | clan> <message> Sends a message to the receiver given as parameter. The command automatically detects wether this is an Avatar or a Clan. If the receiver is not found, the message is not sent (because it could contain secret information), but the chat returns an error message. Example: .to King Hey King, what's on over there? Flaming someone Command: .flame <avatar | clan> [<level>] If you flame someone, his chat says unpretty words to him. The optional parameter level is a number from 0 to 3, that expresses your anger on the victim. 0 is a gentle order to not disturb you anymore, but 3 is, let's say, *!*%/&**. If the level parameter is left out, the default is 2. Example: .flame Johnny Example: .flame grandclan 3 Clear the output window Command: .clear If you find scrolling uncomfortable or want to hide nasty words which were said by the enemy, just type in this command and the window is clear again. It also speeds up chatting on slower computers, since there is then less HTML to calculate. Example: .clear Back to Manual page |
