At first, I want to thank you for playing Nautix at its current stage, because it is not really playable at all like a big game, but it is growing, and therefore needs support and feedback by enthusiastic players and testers. Some words about the game in general: It is an Open Source game, that means you may look into the code and change it as you want to, and even distribute it afterwards under the terms of the GNU GPL. Nautix is thought to be a modern game. Unlike many small "office"-games existing for KDE and GNOME, there are very few ones which really make fun and can compete with commercial ones. Nautix shall become one of these: It is a game with unlimited 3D graphics, multiplayer and teams support, and it is configurable in each way, with themes and planets and (later on) Avatars. In its heart it is a realtime strategy game, but with a roleplay-orientated plot. Back to Introduction page
